RSV

Poor Andrew has RSV. It started on Saturday with a bit of coughing and then overnight turned into chest congestion, coughing and wheezing. Poor thing was pretty miserable but was still his smiley, happy self. I took him to the Dr. on Monday and it was RSV just as I suspected. He had a breathing treatment in the office and we're doing them at home now. He seems to be getting relief pretty quickly, thank goodness. I hope this clears up fast. I go back to work next week and know it will be even harder to leave him if he's sick.

Andrew's Baptism

Andrew was baptized this past Sunday, January 12 at the same church where we were married and the girls were also baptized. It was a beautiful Mass by Father Miguel with a slight annoyance of a parish-wide survey conducted during the middle of Mass. Andrew was a great baby during Mass and the actual baptism and he liked having the water poured over his head. He fussed a little after his paci fell and was out of commission, but then calmed down and was quiet for the rest of the service. Our family all came to spend this special day with us and we are grateful that everyone made it. It was a wonderful day celebrating this milestone for him and having everyone over for the afternoon. Andrew was so excited he just took a few short cat naps throughout the day so he didn't miss any of the fun. Welcome to the Church, Andrew!

2 Months

Andrew is 2 months old now. He is now sleeping 6 hours straight at night, eating/pooping, then sleeping another 3-4 hours before wanting to eat again. He finally loves his swing and play mat and smiles at nearly everything.  He coos and "talks" to his toys and us and it's the sweetest sound. Plus, now he laughs! It's a cute little chuckle. He wears 3 mos. clothes and weighs about 12lbs (!) He goes in for his 2 month check up in a couple of weeks so then I'll know his actual weight and measurements. I'm loving the nice schedule he's got going during the day and hope my transition back to work next month goes smoothly. Happy 2 months little man!
