Double Digits

I decided to take the girls out for a quick photo shoot to commemorate their new double-digit status. I still need to edit these photos but I'm still in love with them as-is. They seem so grown up to me these days and I often look over at them in awe of the young ladies they are growing into. They are so beautiful, smart and kind. I couldn't be more proud to be their mama.

10th Golden Birthday

March 10, 2009 - March 10, 2019 - Ten Years of Loving These Girls Happy 10th Birthday to these amazing girls! We celebrated BIG this year since it was double-digits AND their Golden Birthday. I wanted to make things extra special for them so it was a weekend full of surprises. The first surprise was on Friday when we woke them up and surprised them with a trip to Universal Studios to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This was the one and only thing they wanted for their birthday and we were not disappointed. It was the perfect day with great, finally not rainy, weather and not crowded at all. We spent the majority of the day in the Harry Potter world and were able to go to Olivanders where Lucy was chosen to do the full experience and have a personalized wand selected for her and then Olivia also got a wand of her choice. They were interactive wands so we were able to go all over the village to try different spells to make magic happen in various shop windows. It was so c...

Happy 5th Birthday, Andrew!

Time is flying by with this guy and I can hardly believe he's a full hand's worth of fingers now. Oh how much laughter and silliness he brings to the family. We squeezed in plenty of birthday fun to the Halloween-mix and he loved every minute of it. His school did their Halloween parade and party on the 30th so it was double the excitement. He was so happy to wear his army costume to school, walk in the parade with his friends, have a special Halloween lunch and then have everyone sing to him. He loved celebrating again later that night with more cake, ice cream and singing. We celebrated again with our extended family the next weekend with a donut party. He loved the donuts and spending a morning in pj's with his cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents. Thanks for all the birthday love! Things I hope I never forget about this age: Every morning he asks for "butter with toast" for breakfast. That boy loves butter. His obsession with his lovie. And suck...

He Did It!

Kevin graduated with his MBA in Healthcare Administration in August! I am so incredibly proud of him. It was a lot of hard work, tired days due to late nights, missed events and activities to write, read or study but never once did he complain. This was always his goal and I am so proud of him for finishing. 2 years seemed like a long time when he started, and really at times it was, but it also flew by. He made a great group of friends that I know he will have a friendship with for years to come. Thank you to everyone who helped along the way and came out to support him at graduation. I know it meant a lot to him to have everyone there cheering him on.
