Half Way

I'm 20 weeks now, which is crazy that this pregnancy is already half way over. I thought it might be fun to dig up a 20 week picture of me with the girls and take one of me 20 weeks now. Looks like I'm carrying higher this time and and I think I'm just as big as I was (though I've only gained half as much weight as I did at this point last time- I pretty much gained a pound a week for the majority of the pregnancy with the girls).  Maybe it's the angle, or the fact that Olivia took my picture this time, who knows. 20 weeks with twins 20 weeks with #3 The baby has been moving around a ton lately which has been really fun. Hopefully soon the girls will be able to feel it too since they are very curious about the baby. They always hug and kiss my belly, ask if the baby likes that and have even asked about what the baby eats. Nothing gets by them. We decided not to find out the gender this time. Since I'll have a scheduled c-section, the onl...

Father's Day Interviews

I found some cute Father's Day interviews online for the girls to complete. I separated the girls and did one for Kevin and one for Grandpa with each of them. I would not answer questions for them and they came up with some pretty creative answers that we gave to the guys on Father's Day. I missed the very beginning of Kevin's but you can see most of it. I love these and it was so much fun!

Happy Father's Day!

We spread the celebration over 2 days since the Dad's in our lives are pretty special. Saturday we had some yummy brunch and walked around the mall for awhile. The highlight of the trip for the girls was stopping in the The Disney Store, the highlight for Kevin was his 2 new pairs of shoes and some shirts and the highlight for me was the breakfast :)...everyone wins! After that we headed home where we had a delicious bbq dinner. Sunday we got up and went to Mass and then spent the day at my parent's house. After brunch the girls went out to swim in their little pool while my Dad & Kevin put up a sun shade. Everyone was kind of worried the girls would be bored in their little plastic pool after we got our backyard pool a few weeks ago. I had faith in them though, and knew their little plastic pool offered something none of the other pools had- a slide. Sure enough, when there was barely enough water in the pool to make it wet, the girls were in and running in circles ...

Weekend Fun

Liam came to hang out with us for a few hours and the girls discovered a new way to get in the pool

Hey Jude!

My forever-friend Denise and her husband Justin were in town a couple of weeks ago with their brand new baby boy, Jude. He's a little over 2 months old and the sweetest little guy ever. He's very petite with the absolute best baby hair ever! His hair is full, bushy and has perfect highlighted tips. He's a stud. The girls were very excited that a baby was coming to visit and Olivia made sure to tell me that she wanted to sit on the couch and hold baby Jude. As soon as Justin came in the house with him the girls swarmed over to Jude's car seat and started tickling his cute little baby feet until they managed to wake him up (sorry Denise and Justin). They were obsessed! They wanted to show off their toys and movies and were constantly commenting on what he was looking at or doing. We did finally get the girls settled on the couch with the little guy in their laps. They loved it and I'm sure Jude appreciated his first photo-op surrounded by ladies :) We're so glad...

Spanish

Conversation earlier this week while Kevin was combing the girls' hair: Lucy: "What shoes are you going to wear today, Sister?" Olivia: "The sandals" Lucy: "Which sandals, Sister?" Olivia" "The other sandals." Lucy: "What other sandals, Gracer?" Olivia: "I said, the other sandals." Lucy: "But I said, what other sandals, Gracer?" Olivia: "Goosey, I said the other sandals, it's Spanish. I was saying it in Spanish." Lucy: "Oh, Spanish. I didn't hear you, can you say it louder, Gracer?" Olivia: "Other sandals- that's Spanish." Lucy finally just put on whatever pair of sandals she wanted and apparently was successful in not picking the "other sandals".
