Monday was our last night of swim class. We made it through 2 weeks of Parent and Me Little Swimmers. Overall the girls did very well. I think the whole thing would have gone over better if it were actually warmer. I can't remember such a cool August ever in SoCal and I don't necessarily want to complain about it, but it would have made keeping the girls warm in and out of the water much easier.

The girls learned how to kick, blow bubbles, hold onto the wall, jump off the side, do big swim arms and float. There was much improvement from class to class and for only 2 weeks of instruction we were amazed at how much the girls picked up. Floating on their backs was definitely their least favorite part. We did manage a few sessions without screaming our way through the floating though so that was definitely improvement. We plan on going back next year to get the girls back in the swing of things and eventually move them up to Level 1 (where they jump off the diving board!)
Here are some photos from our first night. Thanks Tawnya!!
