Where's Happy?

The first thing we hear each morning after the girls wake up and come out to the living room is "Where is Happy?" They look in all the places he has been before and then get very worried about him. One morning Olivia came running in to wake up Kevin and said, "Dada, Happy's missing!" Now they know to look all over the house because he could reappear anywhere. So far he's hung from the chandelier, been flying their toy airplane on top of the refrigerator, in one of the plants and on top of a clock and picture. We're trying to be a bit more creative with him and having fun thinking of new places/thing for him. The girls are still thrilled with him and this afternoon when Olivia started to whine about something Lucy immediately said, "Happy's watching, Sister" and that ended that whine-fest quickly. Kevin and I didn't even have to say a word. Is there an Easter, 4th of July and Labor Day Elf, as well?? Do we really only get to keep Happy for 2 more weeks before he goes back to spend the rest of the year with Santa? Guess we better make the most of it while he's here.
