Church Sing-a-longs

The most recent dinner distraction the girls have been able to come up with is singing Church songs at the table. They focus mostly on call and responses. I have it on video but our home computer is dying a slow and painful death and it's testing all of our patience. Here's how it goes:

Lucy: "We pray to the Lord"
Olivia: "Lord, hear our prayer" (sounds like: Lord, hear our parade and she lifts her left hand up into the air while she sings it to get others to join along like they do in Mass)
Then they switch back and forth who sings each part. Now they have also added singing the Holy Holy as well.

It was actually quite amazing to watch them at Mass last night when they realized we were at that part and per dinnertime-routine, they chimed right in, hand motions and all. Olivia actually likes to sing along to all the songs whether she knows them or not and if she notices the Cantor raising her arms for the chorus, sure enough she does too. It's very sweet to watch. They pick up so much just from hearing my Grandma's daily Mass on TV each day at my Mom's and from going to Mass each week.
