Imaginary Playmates

The girls have such funny little imaginations. They start as soon as they get up in the morning and go on and on all day long. I can't even imagine what kind of crazy things they dream about.

Lately, they have 2 imaginary playmates that are constantly residing in our house with us. Eric and Ariel from The Little Mermaid have moved in. At all hours you will hear the girls talking to them, about them and imagining what they are doing. They like to narrate for Kevin and I what Eric and Ariel are doing as well. We hear when they are sleeping (and are told we have to be very quiet so we don't wake them up), we are told when, where and what they are eating and the girls even wrap up presents in blankets for their wedding. I'm fairly certain Eric and Ariel have gotten time outs as well. Who knows what those crazy imaginary friends get into!

If it's not Eric and Ariel we have over, it is Rudy and Marshall (the dogs). The girls pretend to chase them around, that they are chasing them around and even discipline, feed and pet them. Sometimes they require us to tend to the dogs as well.

You would think having someone else to constantly play with would be enough, but no, the girls also require imaingary playmates. Watching their pretend games is one of my favorite things.
