We had a wonderful 4th of July mostly spent swimming, as evidenced by the swimming pictures yesterday. I didn't get a lot of pictures except of the swimming, actually.
The girls were talking about fireworks all day. They kept telling everyone, "When it gets dark the fireworks will come out." They were quite giddy during the fireworks. They started out by asking everyone what their favorite color of fireworks was and then started saying what each one looked like (ex: that one went all crazy, that one looks like a heart, that one looks like a face). When they ran out of descriptions they started to just get crazy talking about them saying things like, "that one looks like a potato" and "that one looks like a sandwich" to which they both would then laugh hysterically. It was a nonstop running commentary from the girls for the entire show. When all was said and done, they were exhausted and so were we. It was a fun, relaxing day.
