We ended up making 3 trips down to see the Mission Inn lights this year and we were just as impressed as usual. They do such a good job of decorating and making it a really fun atmosphere. The first time we were headed home from my Aunt's house when Kevin decided to just drive by. The girls were super excited by the "light explosion" but even more excited about all the carriages they saw driving around. They asked about carriage rides and we told them someday we could do a carriage ride around. Well they took that to mean when we came back a few days later that they were for sure getting to do a carriage ride. We walked all around but told them we weren't going to do the carriages that night. We then went back a few days later specifically for the carriage ride. It was what the girls REALLY wanted to do, and we thought it would be fun. It was awesome! That might be my new favorite way to look at the lights! We could see so much more and we went at a nice pace. The girls were in princess heaven and it was a perfect night.
