We continued our Boat Parade tradition and went down to San Diego on Saturday for the festivities. After hanging out with Melissa, Ross & Ozzie for awhile we met up with Natalia & Kyle to eat in Old Town and then headed over to the Yacht Club for their boat parade. Karen & Mia joined us there too so the girls had another princess-loving friend to play with! The girls all had a blast playing together and the boats were so pretty. It was a great night outside on the bay.
One quick story which we are still laughing about. Mia has just woken up from a nap and was a little shy at first. After some dinner she started to feel better and the girls went over to ask her if she wanted to play. She was in the middle of eating a cookie at the time and as soon as the girls said "play", without hesitation, or even looking at the cookie, she reached her arm out over the table, dropped the cookie and jumped off her mom's lap. It was so cute. Once she brought out her backpack full of princess dolls, she was an instant best friend.
