Snow Day

We took the girls up to play in the snow this past weekend. It was a last minute decision that totally paid off. We were getting worried driving up when there was still no snow on the ground through Arrowhead. Right as we pulled into Running Springs though not only did we find plenty of snow, it also started to snow on us! It was perfect. We ended up randomly finding this open area with plenty of snow near the library and it also happened to be a park. The world could not have been more perfect right then for two 3 year olds. We spent an hour or so playing in the park while it snowed. Amazing. We headed out as soon as the snow and fog really started to get bad and had a slow drive back down the hill. It was a great afternoon though and the girls loved it. We are hoping to go back at least one more time this season for some sledding since we didn't get to that this time.
