Kevin and I went to Carlsbad for the weekend while the girls stayed with my parents. It was such a nice relaxing weekend with perfect weather, lots of sleeping in, leisurely meals, a maternity massage for me and plenty of pool time. We absolutely loved the resort and all the amenities they had for families so hopefully we can come back with the kids some day. We know they'd love it too.
Meanwhile, the girls were having fun with my parents grocery shopping, swimming, playing hide & seek, getting dirty and enjoying visits from Aunt Becky and Aunt Mary. My mom said they did miss us more this time than they had in the past and each had their moments of breakdowns but overall did great.
