After several weeks of researching, emailing, looking and talking about getting a new car we finally went out and did it this weekend. First let me say, as much fun as the looking part is, the actual buying a new car process I absolutely hate. Luckily, we feel like we came out ahead in all this and the process wasn't as bad as I'm sure it could have been.
The girls even enjoyed the process! They were very patient in going from dealer to dealer week after week to look with us. Luckily most dealerships are prepared for impatient little kids and made it easier on us by providing movies, bouncers, free popcorn, play rooms etc. The highlight for the girls no doubt was the car sale we went to on Saturday through our credit union. They had a face painter/balloon artist for the kids plus free In n Out (everyone wins!). We didn't find a car there but the girls had so much fun it that it was definitely worth the trip.

After all that we decided it was time to just go back to the dealership we started at and hack out a deal. I think when all was said and done that night it had been 5 hours since we arrived but we got to drive home in this beauty for less money than we even budgeted. Plus, we were the first 2014 Odyssey that dealership sold so they were pretty excited too! We're definitely those people now.
