Happy New Year! We celebrated the ball drop at 9pm with our East Coast friends and then headed to bed so we could get an early start to the parade. It was the 5 of us plus Nana this year. The weather was beautiful at a warm and sunny 80 plus degrees. The floats were all beautiful and the bands were still lively after more than half of the 5 mile parade route. It is our favorite tradition and way to start the new year. We hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2014!
