Spring Training

We made it out to Arizona for Padres spring training this year along with Natalia, Kyle, Melissa & Ross. Sarah and Tim joined us for the game too. It was a hot but fun afternoon and the atmosphere there was so much more enjoyable than a regular season game. Everyone was polite and easy-going and it was very family-friendly, unlike other professional games. The kids had fun, mostly because it was basically a food festival for them (they must have tried half the food in the stadium). Our seats ended up being in the shade for about half the game so it wasn't unbearable. Afterwards, we went back to Sarah & Tim's for a bbq and basketball for the boys. Natalia, Andrew and I ran over to my grandma's house too to say hi to my aunt and her family, since they were celebrating her birthday. It was a super quick trip but we had a lot of fun and can't wait to plan another, longer spring training trip again in the future.
