Spring Break

The perk of Kevin working at a school is that he gets the benefit of a school schedule including Spring Break. We decided to take a day to do something fun with the kids even though their school spring break had already come and gone. Sarah was in town still from Easter so she, Katie & Lizzy were able to join us at the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. The girls were at the perfect age to be able to do most of the activities and not be frustrated or bored. They always have so much fun together that they might as well be triplets. Their favorite things were the earthquake room, giant dinosaur exhibit and wind tunnels. We all tried laying on a bed of nails too, which the girls were quick to say was their least favorite part, even though it didn't really hurt like you would think. It was more mildly uncomfortable on your shoulders. Definitely odd. We spent a solid afternoon in there before we decided everyone had had enough and we should head home. Such a fun day for everyone.
