How did I miss posting about Thanksgiving? In my defense, I've had this and a ton of other posts written but just never actually added photos and posted. Here goes a nice catch up streak!
Thanksgiving seems so long ago now, but it was the start of all these crazy and fun holidays. I took the week of Thanksgiving off work so the kids and I had a few extra fun days of our own. Thanksgiving day was pretty relaxing and just a family and food day- as it should be. The girls and I went to Mass with my parents and sister in the morning and then they came over to our house for brunch, the parade and the dog show. The girls loved seeing all the giant balloons in the parade and then seeing all the pretty dogs in the dog show. It was a pretty relaxing morning of just lounging around with everyone.
Brian and Marjorie hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their house in the early afternoon. Lizzie, Liam, Andrew and the girls enjoyed playing in Liam's Narnia cupboard, his shenanigan tent and outside with his cars for the afternoon. The cousins all get along so well and do a good job of taking turns and sharing toys. It's fun to watch them all play together especially now as they get older and can play and pretend so much more together. After an attempt at some family pictures, we packed our full and tired selves back into the car and headed home for the night. The kids were worn out after all that playing while all the food did the rest of us in. All that food and family is the reason Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays!
