Here's a recap of festivities leading up to Christmas:
Picking out our tree- The girls were determined to find the perfect tree this year. We walked around the lot a few times before they decided they had found the perfect tree. It was still wrapped in netting and they wanted to chance it and not even cut it open to check it out. We finally decided on a tree that they loved.
School Christmas Program- We practiced and practiced Christmas songs with the girls in the weeks leading up to their school program. They were so excited that morning! Kevin and I were both able to go along with my parents to see and hear them perform. They did great learning at least 8 Christmas carols, including Jingle Bells in Spanish (Cascabells). Afterwards they had a class party which was very tasty!
Festival of Lights- We actually didn't make it down to the Mission Inn until after Christmas this year. It was still just as beautiful and just as busy as ever. It was a really cold night but the lights were beautiful and it was nice to be out, for a little while at least.
