One of my co-workers had a camping spot at San Elijo beach near Encinitas last weekend that she sadly couldn't use and offered it to us. We jumped at the opportunity and headed out for a weekend at the beach. The weather was perfect and we loved the campgrounds and area. It was definitely a place we want to go back.
The girls loved the waves even though the water was chilly and of course spent plenty of time boogey boarding. Andrew preferred to play in the sand and dig with Daddy.
When we weren't at the beach we were riding our bikes across into the town, going for walks and playing games. The girls loved making smores and hot chocolate on the fire at night.
We can't wait to go back!
