Andrew

Andrew is growing into quite a character! He says the funniest things that you would never expect from a 4-year-old. He is still super inquisitive and asks questions almost nonstop. He has to know how everything works, what every person's name is, where we are going, what 'vember it is (he means month) and whether or not it is Christmas yet. If there are any machines or things around that he's never seen before he immediately has to know what they do, who uses them, where they are from and where they are going. It's pretty funny but also slightly annoying since he thinks when you say "I don't know" that you are really just withholding information and he should just keep asking so you will tell him. Eventually, I just resort to "you'll have to ask Daddy because he knows that" and that seems to suffice.

He is doing really well at preschool and has some definite best friends. We hear the most about Cole and Amaya. He generally doesn't like to talk about school much but tidbits do sneak out here and there. The stories he does tell are usually about the kids who get in trouble a lot (poor Brookie is always on the naughty list). His teachers were impressed right from the start that he already knew all his letters and sounds and within the first month of school told us he had moved on to reading! As much as we were excited for him and wanted to praise him for this accomplishment, he hated it. He wanted no part of the attention or praise for this accomplishment. He is such a funny kid like that!
