Easter snuck up on us this year since it was so early and we've had a lot going on. It was a very low key Easter this year and probably just what we needed. We went to Mass in the morning and then over to Grandma & Grandpa's in the afternoon for egg hunting, hanging out and dinner. They even let Lizzy borrow Super Girl :) Andrew wanted to get in on the pictures He adores Auntie Mary and followed her around for the whole party Wonder Woman is serious about cake I just love how happy they are in this picture.  Cutie Shane enjoying some cake All about the cake.  Little buddies! Disneyland!

Anxiously waiting to leave We braved a rainy day forecast to use our Disneyland tickets. It turned out to be such a perfect day that I only want to go on rainy days now! There was hardly anyone there, even in the morning when it was warm and sunny. The clouds rolled in around lunchtime and then it poured rain for an hour and a half straight and then cleared up and was dry the rest of the day. Most of the people who had been around all morning fled as soon as the rain started and it was even less crowded by evening. We started off by stopping in to City Hall where the girls were treated to a birthday phone call from Goofy. Then, as luck would have it, when we walked outside there was Goofy! We stopped to get their girls some embroidered ears next and they wore them all day long. They were so cute! Goofy right when we walked in We had to stop and get them ears They insisted that the Tea Cups had to be the first ride and it was! They wanted to go fast and Kevi...

Birthday Fun

The girls woke up to a room filled with balloons, personalized super hero capes, donuts and a table of presents. They were so excited to be 7 and told us how much they had grown over night. I dropped the girls off at school, Andrew off with Grandpa & Grandma and then went home to work on a little birthday surprise. I re-did the girls room with new bedding, pillows, curtains, art and some re-arranging. It turned out so cute! I still need a few more things for their walls but all-in-all I love the way it turned out. It was time for a change from the princess motif. As soon as I finished and squeezed in a quick nap (I was also sick all week), I picked up some colorful cupcakes and headed over to celebrate with their class. They sang them Happy Birthday in English & Spanish and it was very cute.  I brought along a few presents to take to my parents' house where we were staying for dinner. They got these adorable ballerina music boxes, ballerina ...
